About BodyCalc

BodyCalc provides informational health and wellness calculators, including calculations related to:

  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
  • Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE)
  • Waist-to-height ratio
  • Estimated body fat percentage
  • Lean body mass
  • Fat-Free Mass Index (FFMI)
  • Estimated weight ranges and related body metrics

BodyCalc is designed for general informational, educational, and wellness purposes. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Information You Enter in the App

BodyCalc may ask you to enter information such as:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Age
  • Sex or gender selection used by a formula
  • Activity level
  • Waist, neck, or hip measurements
  • Other measurements required by a selected calculation

This information is used to perform calculations and display results inside the app.

BodyCalc does not require you to submit these measurements to any account or server. We do not intentionally transmit your health-related inputs or calculation results to Unity LevelPlay, its advertising networks, or RevenueCat.

Some calculation results, preferences, or history may be stored locally on your device when you use the relevant saving or history features. You can remove locally saved information through the available app controls or by deleting the app.

Sharing Calculation Results

BodyCalc may allow you to generate and share an image containing a calculation result.

The image is shared only when you choose to use the sharing feature and select a destination through your device’s system share sheet.

Any third-party app or service you choose as the sharing destination will handle the shared information according to its own privacy policy. Beyza Erik does not control the privacy practices of the destination you select.

Account and Contact Information

BodyCalc does not require account registration.

You do not need to provide your name, email address, phone number, or physical address to use the calculators.

If you contact us by email for support, we may receive your email address, message content, and any information you voluntarily include. We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, prevent abuse, or maintain necessary business records.

Advertising and Unity LevelPlay

The free version of BodyCalc may display banner and interstitial advertisements delivered through Unity LevelPlay, an advertising mediation platform operated by Unity Technologies. Advertisements may be served by Unity Ads and ironSource Ads, which are part of Unity.

BodyCalc is configured to request non-personalized advertisements for every user, in every region. Before any advertisement is requested, the app signals to the advertising networks that consent to personalized advertising has not been given and that the sale or sharing of personal information is opted out. Non-personalized advertisements are based primarily on contextual information rather than a user’s past behavior.

Even when advertisements are non-personalized, Unity may process limited information necessary to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising services. Depending on the device, applicable law, and privacy choices, this information may include:

  • IP address and approximate location inferred from the IP address
  • Device information such as model, operating system version, and language
  • Device or app-level identifiers
  • Advertising impressions and interactions
  • Information about how users interact with the app or advertisements
  • Crash logs
  • Performance and diagnostic information
  • Information used for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention

BodyCalc does not intentionally provide your height, weight, age, body measurements, calculation inputs, or calculation results to Unity or any advertising network.

BodyCalc does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, so Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) is not made available to BodyCalc or its advertising partners, and BodyCalc does not use it for personalized advertising or cross-app tracking.

BodyCalc includes Apple’s SKAdNetwork configuration, which lets advertisers measure ad-driven app installs through Apple in an aggregated way that does not identify you.

Unity’s handling of information is governed by its own privacy policies:

BodyCalc version 1.3.0 includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob), configured to request non-personalized advertisements. Versions released after 1.3.0 use Unity LevelPlay instead. If you use version 1.3.0, Google may process the limited information described above under the Google Privacy Policy; updating BodyCalc removes the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

Advertising Privacy Choices

Because BodyCalc requests only non-personalized advertising for every user, it does not show a consent form for personalized advertising, and you do not need to change any setting to keep advertisements non-personalized.

You may also:

  • Purchase Remove Ads Forever to stop advertisements in BodyCalc entirely
  • Use Report an Ad in the app’s Settings to tell us about an inappropriate advertisement
  • Review Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your iPhone — BodyCalc never asks for tracking permission
  • Contact Unity about information processed by its advertising services, as described in its privacy policies

In-App Purchases and RevenueCat

BodyCalc offers an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase called Remove Ads Forever.

This purchase removes eligible advertisements. It does not unlock health calculators or calculation results, which are otherwise available without purchasing the ad-removal product.

BodyCalc may also recognize eligible users who previously purchased the legacy BMR Unlock non-consumable product and grant them ad-free access.

Purchases are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Beyza Erik does not receive or store your full payment card details, bank account information, Apple Account password, or complete payment credentials.

We use RevenueCat to:

  • Validate purchases
  • Determine whether an ad-free entitlement is active
  • Restore eligible purchases
  • Maintain purchase and entitlement status
  • Help diagnose purchase-related problems

RevenueCat may process information such as:

  • Product identifiers
  • Purchase and transaction information
  • Purchase status and entitlement status
  • An anonymous app-specific customer identifier
  • App version, operating system, and related technical information
  • Information required to validate and restore purchases

RevenueCat does not receive your full payment card or bank account details from BodyCalc.

RevenueCat’s handling of information is governed by its own privacy policy.

Apple Services

Apple processes App Store downloads, in-app purchases, refunds, payment information, and Apple Account authentication according to Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.

Beyza Erik does not control Apple’s processing of this information.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Limited information may be processed or shared with service providers only as necessary to operate the app, including:

  • Apple, for App Store distribution and payment processing
  • RevenueCat, for purchase validation and entitlement management
  • Unity (Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, and ironSource Ads), for advertisement delivery, measurement, security, and diagnostics
  • Authorities or professional advisers when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, users, or the security of the app

These providers process information according to their own agreements, privacy policies, and legal obligations.

Data Retention

Health-related inputs and calculation history stored locally remain on your device until you delete them through the app, clear the relevant data, or delete the app.

Purchase records may remain with Apple and RevenueCat as necessary to validate transactions, provide purchase restoration, comply with legal requirements, prevent fraud, and maintain financial records.

Advertising and diagnostic providers retain information according to their own privacy policies and retention practices.

Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support records, protect legal rights, or comply with applicable obligations.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to limit unnecessary data collection and protect information under our control.

However, no electronic storage, device, network, or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Apple Account.

Children’s Privacy

BodyCalc is not specifically designed for or directed to children under the age of 13.

The app does not require children or other users to create an account or provide directly identifying information to use its calculators.

We do not knowingly request or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses from children through the app.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us through a support request, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about processing.

Because most BodyCalc calculation information is stored locally, you can generally manage or remove it directly through the app or by deleting the app.

You may also:

  • Purchase Remove Ads Forever to stop advertisements in the app
  • Restore or manage purchases through Apple
  • Review device-level privacy and advertising settings in iOS
  • Contact us regarding information contained in support communications

Requests involving information controlled independently by Apple, Unity, or RevenueCat may need to be submitted directly to the relevant provider.

International Processing

Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.

Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies, contractual safeguards, and applicable data protection requirements.

Third-Party Links and Services

BodyCalc may include links to informational sources, privacy policies, support pages, advertisements, or other external services.

We are not responsible for the content, security, availability, or privacy practices of third-party websites or services. Review the relevant third party’s terms and privacy policy before providing information to it.

Health and Wellness Disclaimer

BodyCalc is provided solely for general informational, educational, and wellness purposes.

Results are estimates based on information entered by the user and commonly used formulas or assumptions.

BodyCalc does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, nutritional prescriptions, or personalized healthcare recommendations.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions relating to health, diet, fitness, medication, or medical treatment.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app, legal requirements, or third-party services.

When changes are made, the revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of BodyCalc after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
